Pinterest Pick 3: DIY for Home

I am joining in once again for the Pinterest Pick 3 Linky that Lisa over at PAWSitively Teaching and Marissa over at Inspired Owl's Corner are hosting each month!! Every month on the 3rd, bloggers can link up their top 3 Pinterest picks specifically themed for that month! June and July we are taking a detour from teaching for the summer and sharing some of our favorite home decor ideas, gardening, recipes, crafts, and more!

For me, this summer is going to be all about trying out the millions of DIY projects I have pinned on Pinterest. Seriously, the number of pins on some of my boards is ridiculous. So, I plan to actually attempt the following three this summer (future post later to see how they turn out!)

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated 9 years of being together (since we were 16!) and 3 years of marriage so I thought this DIY would be fitting. I pinned it around the time we were getting married and I keep seeing it on my board, calling out to me! Definitely a goal this summer!

This shirt. This shirt right here. I love it so much. I want to recreate (on a shirt with better shape) and add  Mrs. Root to the top of the "page".

Maybe while I am at it I will create a few accessories to go with!
(see how I sneak those extra pins in here!)

I'm not sure if it is the copper color or the rustic feel that makes me love this stand but I do. This most definitely needs to become a part of my kitchen this summer.

  1. Hey Kayla,
I saw a guy wearing a "paper" shirt like the one you show. I want to make one, too! Glad to have a picture to pin. Thanks. See you around. Kathleen Kidpeople Classroom
