Pick 3: Activities for Learning Names

I am joining in once again for the Pinterest Pick 3 Linky that Lisa over at PAWSitively Teaching and Marissa over at Inspired Owl's Corner are hosting each month!! Every month on the 3rd, bloggers can link up their top 3 Pinterest picks for that month!

Today I am sharing with you my favorite pins for teaching names at the beginning of the school year.

Magnetic Letters:
These are a staple in every kindergarten classroom and I love see how teachers incorporate them.

Any time I can find a meaningful way to incorporate crafts, I am happy! Letter students work with the letters in their names in new ways is so important. Plus they make great personalized decorations for the classroom. These are a few of my favorites this month!

Songs are such a great way to teach just about anything. I love using songs for names during our morning group especially.

  1. Love all the name activities! Thanks for sharing and linking up!

  2. Love the apples up on top names. Have been looking for a meaningful activity to do with that book - and this is perfect! thanks.

    1. Awesome! I saw the activity last year after we'd already done the book so I am looking forward to using it this year. Hope your kiddos enjoy it!
