Summer Link-Up: Accomplishments

Hey there!
I'm back again linking up with Monica from I Heart Grade 3 for her Weekly Summer Link-Up!

This week's topic is:

1. Having A Moderately Successful TpT Store
I know that given who my readers are, this may not seem like a big accomplishment for many of you. Outside of the blogging community though, I actually know very few teachers who have their own Teachers Pay Teachers store. Many of my colleagues use resources from TpT frequently but say they don't have the time, skill, or know-how to develop products to sell. I really enjoy being able to share my resources and ideas to benefit other classes.

2. Grad School
Two years into my undergrad, I fell in love with education. Not only did I know for certain I would be a teacher but I fell in love with being a student. I started thinking about grad school before I finished undergrad but it wasn't an option for a variety of reasons. I made a goal for myself to start grad school by my second year of teaching. I officially started grad school on April 20th of this year and I'm so happy to be a student again.

3. Blog Designing
On a much smaller level, I am super proud of recently attempting and somewhat succeeding to teach myself some html and blog designing. If you hadn't noticed, I gave my blog a bit of a face lift!

So those are my two brag worthy moments, don't forget to check out the other bloggers who are sharing their accomplishments this week as well!

PS. If you are new to my neck of the blogging woods, feel free to join the party and follow me on bloglovin here:

  1. Hi Kayla!

Thank you for participating in my linky party! It's great to have you a part of it!

Like you, I know very few people around me who have a TpT store. I have "met" a lot through networking and I am looking forward to actually meeting some of those people in Vegas this summer! When I started I had no idea HOW to make products but I have taught myself along the way. Congrats to you for learning HTML code and blog designing! That is one area I tried and failed at miserably! lol!

Thanks again for linking up and best of luck with your Grad studies!

  2. Hi Kayla!

I LOVE what you have done with your blog! I tried to do my own, but it turned out horrible! I had to hire someone else to make it pretty. You did a terrific job! 😃 Carol
