"My Personal Side" Linky: Favorite Cup or Mug

I am here with a quick and fun post today! I am joining in a linky by Molly over at Classroom Confections. The linky is titled "My Personal Side" and will allow teachers to share a little about themselves based on a given topic.

This week is:
My Favorite Cup or Mug
and what's inside!

My favorite mug has been my go-to since freshman year of my undergrad at the University of Idaho. It was one of the first "school pride" items I bought as a college student and has seen me through many nights of studying and now many hours of lesson planning. Plus I love when people ask about my school since it's not a very well known university.

"Idaho, Idaho, Go, Go, Go!"

& What's in my cup?

Coffee, always coffee. Sometimes it's the cheap coffee from the staff lounge and sometimes it's a Starbucks K-cup from home. Usually straight black coffee (because they water it down at work anyways). When I'm feeling like I need an extra kick of sugar, I might throw in a packet of raw sugar or a spoon of agave.

So what about you? Do you have a go-to cup for school? Make sure to check out the other bloggers who are sharing a peek into their daily cup here.

  1. Pride for you college is important! I attended a small school as well and just having a sign on my classroom door with my college on it (we all did this for the Seniors to ask questions!) gets comments from others. I love sharing something wonderful with them.

    1. That's awesome! Especially that you can share your college with students who may be trying to find the right one for them. I have a sign by my door as well and a parent came in chanting our fight song on the first day of school. He was also a University of Idaho alunmi so we had an instant positive connection! Thanks so much for stopping by!

    1. Happy to hear that! It's a great way to share a piece of you with your students too! All my kiddos know I'm an Idaho Vandal. Thank you for stopping by and happy mug shopping!
