My Truth Monday: Fitness (Eeek)

I am very much loving this new 12 part series linky  called My Truth Monday thought up and created by Denise over at Sunny Days in Second Grade. Today is the first day and if you didn't figure it out already, the topic is fitness. I really enjoyed this topic because it's something I've been thinking about  on and off for the last few months. I gave everyone a small peek into my fitness history previously when I was preparing for my 5K back in September (Check out my post about The Color Run if you missed it). Trying to summarize it into short few sentences was a bit difficult but here it is:

Here is a recent through back as well to give you an idea of my kind of fitness. I am very motivated by all things colorful and messy and The Color Run was definitely that! I completed my first 5K ever at the end of last month. I am considering doing another but without having found a new motivation, my training has come to a hault. Guess I should start looking for another exciting 5K to start working towards. I'll get on that...

    1. Thank you, I’m pretty proud of finally doing it. This post has re-sparked my interest to start looking for my next one. I’ll be giving up dates when I find my next one.

  2. I'm a work in progress too. :) Just started back to the gym 2 weeks ago. And I'm doing my first Color Run in November - can't wait!

    1. It was a blast and you will have such a great time. I definitely recommend The Color Run for anyone who is interested in giving running a try. It is especially good for first timers because there is no pressure, they don’t even time the runners! Hope you have a great time and good luck with your training. :)
