Jingle bells, jingle bells! It's December believe it or not! Another month brings another currently post linky with Farley!
Loving: Winter decorations! I'm obsessed with winter, snowy, twinkly things. Snowflakes and glitter are my favorite. I'm not even exaggerating. Our wedding date was in January just so it could be winter themed. Now that it is December, I can bring in blue and silver trinkets and decorations to sparkle-up my desk and corn of the resource room.
Thinking: I need to figure out our Christmas picture! The hubby is ever so patient with my crazy pictures I insist on doing each holiday. I love recreating cute photo ideas from pinterest. Here is ours from last year that I created in our tiny apartment living room. My parents called is weird, I prefer the term artsy.
Wanting: A tablet, maybe, I dunno. I am so torn. I want one but I also don't want to invest in something that I might not use much. My husband as an Acer tablet and I do not like it at all. The interface frustrates me. But I love the possibility of being able to draw clip art by hand and use the touch screen ability.
Needing: Since my husband and I are the young couple in both families, we get a lot of being "told" what to do for the holidays. We have no kiddos to worry about so family assumes we are more than eager to drive around Washington all day cramming as many stops in as we can. I mean it lovingly by talk about stressful! Planning our holiday schedule is no easy task and with one holiday down and another to do, we need a holiday away from our holidays!
Tradition: When my husband and I started dating at 16, we didn't really have the option of spending holidays together. To make up for it, every year in high school we tried to squeeze in a movie on Christmas eve. It guaranteed us at least 2.5 hours together in between the craziness of the holidays. Even though we're married now, we still like to squeeze in our traditional Christmas Eve movie.

Cool tradition!! I spent Christmas in America last year - my first winter Christmas!! Although we couldn't really call it winter, as we were in San Diego!!
ReplyDeleteEven though all the holiday movies are set in winter, I still find it strange to be thinking of things that aren't beach related over the Christmas break!! We are all about swimming in the river and BBQ's on Christmas Day in my family!!
